Self-Care is Oxygen—A Tool to Help You Get More

You probably haven't met too many professionals whose performance suffered because they placed top priority on their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Yet you may have known, as I have, countless professionals who—having ignored their own needs—sentenced themselves, their work, and their relationships to a lifetime of regret and lost fulfillment.

It just doesn't have to be that way.

Few of us are suffering from too much self-care.

As you may recall, last year I gave my readers a choice of four topics and invited them to vote for their favorite. I wanted to make sure my next salable product added value. I also wanted it to be relatable and fun.

Why create a 'product' when you can create an experience?

Overwhelmingly, the votes went to "Saying Yes to Yourself While Taking Care of Others." My new book Thriving at Work is the fulfillment of that vote—starting with the first and most foundational section, "Taking Care of YOU, Guilt-Free."
